Briklin is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is designed for customers in India and aligns with the principles of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone, company.
• Operational data you enter: projects, purchases, materials, labour, transactions, files/photos.
• Usage and device data for security and performance (IP address, device/browser, app version).

How we use data

• Provide and improve the service and support.
• Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
• Legal compliance and enforcing terms.
• Product communications (you can opt out of non‑essential emails).

Data location

Your data is hosted in a secure cloud region: ap-south-1 (Mumbai). Backups are stored within the same region or equivalent regions with comparable protections.

Sharing & subprocessors

We may use vetted service providers (subprocessors) for hosting, analytics, email, and support. They only process data under our instructions and agreements. We maintain an up‑to‑date list upon request.

Security

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES‑256).
• Role‑based access control and least‑privilege practices.
• Backups, monitoring, and incident response procedures.

Retention & deletion

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account data; we delete or irreversibly anonymise within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal requirements and backups lifecycle.

Your rights

• Access and correction of your personal data.
• Data portability (export in a commonly used format).
• Withdrawal of consent for non‑essential processing.
• Erasure, subject to legal and operational limits.

Children

Briklin is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
